Coach Pawar was "not worried" about the series defeat, a compelling extended charge of bowling failure

India lost only one T20 match before losing three ODIs to give up the five-match series to New Zealand.

The Indian women's team has lost all four matches on the New Zealand tour so far, but coach Ramesh Pawar said he was "not worried" about the lack of time for a bad game due to issues related to Kovit-19 and isolation.

India lost by 18 runs in a single T20 match before losing three ODIs to give up the five-match series against New Zealand. The visiting team has not yet won a single match.

"We only had three days of training sessions before the tour. You can not enter the series against New Zealand in a very short time. Therefore, there will be some rusting in the attitude of the players," Pawar said. The conference comes after India lost by three wickets in the third ODI here on Friday.

"I'm not worried, I'm not worried about anything. After Australia, we did not play any games as a team. We came straight to the NZ. If you want to solve some problems with batting, fielding and bowling, you have to play as a team before the series does not happen." Pawar admitted that batting clicked on the tour, but there are "contradictions" in the bowling department, but things are expected to be fixed before the start of the World Cup next month.

"The batting became a click. From where the England tour is now. We have scored 270, 280. We have also scored 260, 270 in Australia, so the batting unit has done its job," Pawar said, adding that opener Smriti Mandana was out of isolation on Tuesday for the next match. Available from

"Now there is a bowling unit to get a rhythm. There were restrictions on training, there were other limitations. So, I have to give the bowlers (benefit of the doubt) that they will come back hard when the World Cup starts." India set more than 270 runs for New Zealand in the second and third ODIs, but the bowlers failed to defend on both occasions.

"We missed our real fast bowlers and played with Julan, Simran, Renuka (and Pooja) because we were not available," he said.

"Now Magna will be available (from next match). We can make some progress in our bowling which has done well in Australia. Three seam bowlers in each match." India have played only two fast bowlers in three ODIs so far.

Along with Mandana, fast bowlers Magna Singh and Renuka Singh were in extended isolation. Renuka, who had earlier come out of isolation, played in the third ODI on Friday, but missed again as Magna and Mandana only came out of the MIQ on Tuesday.

"There were contradictions, we agreed. In bowling, we try to talk about middle over performance where we can take wickets because there were a couple 100 runs partnerships (by NZ).

"We like to take wickets in the middle overs. They have tried their best, but with limited training and covetousness and isolation, I do not blame my players for the (absent) consistency due to training, match simulation and the like. Matches, it hurts us." Asked about the poor form of vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored 10, 10 and 13 in three ODIs, Pawar said, "I (in India) will abide by my statement because it will return to Harman. The mind of a player who acts under stressful circumstances.

"We can create them (situations) in webs or otherwise. But it's up to that particular player to come out of that zone and perform better." Pawar said the management was trying different team combinations to deal with different situations that might arise against different opponents in the upcoming World Cup.

"We want to give play time to all 18 players. In all four games, we tried different bowling attacks with no limit of crackers," he said.

"We'll try to bring in bowlers who can bowl at any time during power play, middle overs or death. We've trying to make a lot of combinations, not the final addition yet." He said the idea was to have multiple match winners on the team so that one or two could work on a particular day.

"At the World Cup you have a team like five bowlers or six bowlers or six all-rounders Can not be, every opponent will be different. It's a match for a match. "

"Those who can face the pressure will rise against that pressure. They will perform better at the World Cup."
