Harmanpreet Kaur's bizarre run out in New Zealand Women vs 3rd ODI
INDW vs NZW: Harmanpreet Kaur fell asleep after playing a shot in the 3rd Women's ODI between India and New Zealand in Queenstown and had to pay the price for her wicket.
Indian women's T20I captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been having a tough time with the bat late and luck seems to have abandoned him. Things got worse for the middle-order batsman on Friday in the third women's ODI against New Zealand. She fell into a deep sleep after playing a shot and had to pay the price for her wicket. India lost by three wickets at Queenstown to take an unbeaten 3-0 lead over New Zealand in the five-match ODI series.
The incident took place on the 28th when India was in a strong position.
Harmanpreet, who batted for 13, got off the track for a Frances McCoy delivery and played a determined drive that turned straight into the bowler. Instead of coming back to Greece, the Indian player stood there.
McKay, on the other hand, immediately threw the ball to the wicket-keeper. Harmanpreet made a late drive, but it was not enough because the replays failed to get the Indian player back in time.

Overall, India gave a good account of themselves but could not get the job done by the bowlers at crucial moments, which cost India, dear.
Sabinene Meghna and Shafali Verma both batted brilliantly to give India a great start. However, Yastika Patia, captain Mithali Raj, and Harmanpreet Kaur did not make a good start.
Despite little support, Deepti Sharma was unbeaten on 69 off one ball as India were all out for 279 in 49.3 overs.
Julan Goswami bowled the dangerous Sophie Devine and Susie Bates in the first three overs to give India a perfect start. But like the second ODI, India failed to calculate their advantage.
Amelia Kerr (67) and Amy Satterthwaite (59) got their team out of trouble, while Lauren Down (64) and Katie Martin added finals.
