India are the second team to win 100 T20 matches after Pakistan

Kolkata: The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team became the 2nd team to win 100 T20 matches.

India beat West Indies by 8 runs in the second T20I match of the three-match series at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Apart from India, Pakistan is the only team to have won more than 100 T20 matches. Pakistan has won 118 T20 matches so far. Even after becoming the full-time captain of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma has not lost a single game.

India, led by Rohit, has won all eight matches so far.

The quality of Virat Kohli and Rishabh's ball was supported by enthusiastic bowling during the deaths of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Herschelle Patel as India beat West Indies by eight runs in the second T20 match.

In the last over, Bhuvneshwar conceded just four runs, which turned the match in favor of the hosts.

Earlier, Kohli was dismissed for 52 as India was bowled out for 186/5 in the allotted 20 overs. Bandh scored 52 not out. Bandh and Venkatesh Iyer (33) added 76 runs for the fifth wicket.

The win gave India a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The main T20 match will be played on Sunday at Eden Gardens.
